The initiation ceremony and luncheon on Saturday were followed by the annual alumni basketball tournament. The double-elimination tournament featured three alumni teams and three teams of active members, and was the highest attended tournament in recent years. Due to Simpson basketball games being played in Cowles, the tournament took place in Hopper Gym. Despite the smaller gym space, the event went smoothly and was enjoyed by all. Two alumni teams faced off in the championship game at the end of the day, while two active teams fought it out for third place. The event was planned by last semester's EDA Chad Warfield.
